“fearless, charismatic, and

musically intent...an artist to watch.”

In the first-ever conservatory performance of the most dramatically and musically challenging part I have ever composed for soprano, Alexandra Kzeski, in the title rôle of Lysistrata, swept all before her. Her voice is seamlessly organized over a two-octave-plus range—a sequence in her first act cabaletta which requires pinpoint intonation in rapid sixteenths from low B-flat to the same pitch two octaves above, capped by a surging high C, was dispatched with an accuracy of pitch, an evenness of timbre, a dramatic alertness, and a seeming effortlessness of execution that sounded, in the theatre, like pure joy; and, in every measure of a long role, it was everywhere audible that her understanding of the character went bone-deep.

Fearless, charismatic, and musically intent, Alexandra Kzeski is an artist to watch.

Meet Alexandra

"Alexandra Kzeski is radiant as the baron's wife, secretly in love with another. That would be Camille, played by Adrian Kramer. They sparkle together in looks and in voice."

••• Orlando Sentinel

"Alexandra Kzeski intoxicated the audience with her larger-than-life voice and flawless stage presence in the role of Musetta. She held nothing back when it came to showing off her lovely vibrato and impressive dynamic range. She leaned into the layers of the character and successfully showed the audience Musetta’s cheeky side along with her compassion for her friend Mimì in the final scene."
