About Alexandra

American soprano Alexandra Kzeski, known for her "larger-than-life voice and flawless stage presence" (OperaWire), shines in a broad-ranging repertoire of classic to contemporary operatic roles. For the 2026-27 season, Alexandra will be joining Opera Orlando as Soprano Studio Artist for her second year. In the 2025-26 season with Opera Orlando, she covered and debuted Mimì in La Bohème, debuted Madeleine and covered Anna Sørensen in Silent Night, debuted Galatea in Acis and Galatea, performed Gretel in Hansel and Gretel, and debuted Valencienne in The Merry Widow. She also performed as Musetta in a series of concerts with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra.

Prior to joining Opera Orlando, she performed the role of Pamina in The Magic Flute with The Janiec Opera Company of the Brevard Music Center, and made her professional debut as Berta in Il barbiere di Siviglia with Sarasota Opera as an Apprentice Artist. 

 

In the 2024 season, Alexandra performed as Donna Anna in Don Giovanni with Mannes Opera and as Musetta in La Bohème with The Janiec Opera Company. Additionally, Alexandra triumphed in the title role in Lysistrata, composed by Mark Adamo and produced by Mannes Opera. She graduated with her Master’s of Music from Mannes School of Music at The New School in May 2024.

 

Recent accolades include winning an Encouragement Award in the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition (2026), The Sarasota Opera Guild Ann J. O’Donnell Award for Outstanding Apprentice Artists (2025), The Shoshana Foundation Richard F. Gold Grant (2024), and The Chicagoland Italian American Charitable Organization Award, Casa Italia Vocal Scholarship Competition (2023).
